Since opening the state's first crematory in 1904, Flanner and Buchanan has offered the fullest range of cremation services, urns, and keepsake options. The beautiful central point of Oaklawn is the funeral center and mausoleum, the Good Shepherd Chapel. Situated on a lake, it provides a peaceful setting for funeral and memorial services. It also features a reception lobby for gatherings. The outside crypts have granite fronts with incised lettering and are accentuated by rays of natural light, making the Good Shepherd an inspirational place to honor loved ones.
