Floral Park is pleased to announce that its new funeral center and cemetery office will be open for business in December of 2007.  This beautiful setting offers all-in-one-place convenience with space for funeral services, as well as community functions.  The building offers large event rooms with comfortable lounges for its visitors.  Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Centers, a trusted name since 1881, will provide funeral services for our families. 

A Commitment to the Community Floral Park has been Indianapolis’ premiere Westside cemetery since 1919 and is committed to the families and neighborhood it serves.  Now, families can plan every aspect of a funeral and burial at one location.  Major improvements have been made to the surrounding area including the transition of Little Eagle Trailer Court into future cemetery land.  The main entrance of the cemetery is being moved to the corner of Cossell and Holt roads. 

All-In-One-Place Convenience Personalized services in the new center include tradition funerals and memorial services, cremation services, catered meals, and family gatherings.  Services can be held at the funeral center or at a location of your choosing.  Cemetery services include ground burial, mausoleum entombment, urn placement, plus monuments and grave markers.  Inquire about our temporary marker program. 

A Special Tribute – Generations Walk In spring of 2008, Floral Park will dedicate its Generations Walk memorial.  This landmark feature will salute over 5,000 individuals buried in Floral Park Cemetery – a unique and personalized tribute to the people of Indianapolis that are buried there.  Generation Walk will be located just east of the new funeral center.
